Also known as RSD, Reflex sympathetic dystrophy is a condition of burning pain, stiffness, swelling, and discoloration of the limbs or limb. When one’s nervous system becomes overactive, a type of burning pain occurs. Swelling, pain and warmth is felt in the affected limb.
Exercise: This is one of the most important elements and must be an ongoing program; this can greatly improve the disease. Exercise helps keep function, strength, muscle mass and flexibility.
